Time for an update…? 6238-1823-065

Well I’ve been pressured (well mildly reminded) to kick-start the posting again (no doubt it will become much more profound once the holidays set it), so I thought I’d give an update.

The last few weeks have been somewhat entertaining, although rather tiring. At the moment, I’m completely stuffed from a much too-long week of school, going places, seeing people and doing things. For a complete list, ask me because this tiredness also applies to typing, which I must limit myself in.

However I will note a few rather important points about my previous few weeks:

• Mid-year exams. Everyone else had them, I didn’t. Loving it.
• Stanley Cup finals = biggest letdown.
• NBA finals = Go Boston!!! (3 world titles at once!!! (Everyone knows the Pats won))
• Malkin Jersey = the coolest thing this side of McKinnon and Kate’s Crosby Jersey.
• Kate = modest bully.
• Hockey’s going great, baseball not so great (haven’t played in 8 weeks.. Can’t be bothered).
• Went to a Michael Buble concert last Wednesday; was bloody fantastic.
• Went to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on Saturday night; was bloody fantastic x 100,000,000.
• Saw “The Happening” on Sunday; was less than fantastic.
• Went to the PLC formal on Friday night; was pretty good fun. (I was going to put this in chronological order, but it would’ve messed with the run of “fantastics”.
• Had hockey training on Sunday morning, then Kate came over, where she proceeded to completely decimate me at NHL 08; which was just fantastic.

 

 

So that was my last 5 days in a nutshell. Throw in a tremendous lack of sleep (MSO until 2300, home @ 0000, hockey @ 0500 = not good) and you’ve got yourself a good time.

In other news, we’ve started to organize tech for the Tattoo (well kinda… We’re going through the logistics of everything in music; while we’ve got a prelim lighting meeting tomorrow after school), so that’s starting to take the shape of a production (Hopefully it’s a little less painful than previous years).

And in unrelated news, I think “Ката_Сторм@…” is “so not year 5″.
