Don’t you love things just appearing?
Like for instance, this morning I went to have my normal, everyday shower; and when I come back to my room, what do I find???? I nice 2m high, L-shaped cardboard box with Canadian postal markings all over it.
For those interested what was inside this mysterious hooked box; there was a very shiny, very light, very strong, Carbon-Kevlar composite hockey stick. I ordered my brand new Easton S17 last week, and I didn’t expect it for at least another two weeks, so you can imagine my suprise (and excitement) to find it here already!
I’m also pretty happy that I saved myself about $600 by buying it from Canada (they are RIDICULOUSLY expensive here), and can’t wait to get out on the ice and give it a shot.
In other news, rehearsals for Meta are full-on from next Monday, which is always good, so everything seems to be going along at a nice pace.
