Well another production draws to a close.

Although I haven’t mentioned it much (if at all), the 2008 year 10 production, ‘Children of the Black Skirt’has come and gone.
Suprisingly, it was a really enjoyable play (especially for a year 10 production), with the cast this year being much better than last year’s.

The lighting was also pretty darned complex for a year 10 play, with 92 cues over a 47 minute play, easily beating last years play which had about 30 cues in total. (I could count, but that means going to my bookshelf and finding the script, etc…) From what I’ve heard, the play was well-received, which is also a promising thing.

‘Metamorphoses’ is coming along at a fine rate of knots, with rehearsals been going since last year.
Rehearsals step it up a notch in a couple of weeks, and then the real fun begins (all over again).

The ‘Teaser’ posters for Meta have been finalized, and I must say, they will certainly draw much attention in the following weeks. (Viral advertising at it’s greatest) I especially liked Iain’s portrait of King Midas, entitled ‘Greed: Money is a good thing’, with him holding a wad of $50 notes and a wine goblet.

The show looks to be an absolute classic, and you should most certainly keep it in the backs of your minds over the next month or so.

In other news, Ice Hockey team selections are tomorrow, which I’ve been looking forward to for a while; with the first game on 5 April.

And that is that,

 The End.
