BUMP-IN!!! 8027-1737-034

Well,

 It’s official. Pargie has tended his resignation, effective September 1 for ‘Health Reasons’.

I liked Aikman better.

On other news,

Today was bump-in!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s like the christmas for techies, where we get all the schnazzy lights and gear and put it all together…
We got 8 VL-5’s (Big moving lights that change color and wash a massive area), and on Saturday we’re getting a heap more…
We spent the entire day unpacking, rigging, painting, dropping cables, and other fun (but tiring) stuff, much better than classes…

I can’t wait to get the rest of the lights and see them in action!!!

Pant was being his usual childish self, tying the rope that Johnny was trying to use to rig the VL’s;

Johnny was like a lighting version of Belly (I mean that in the nicest possible sense);

Luke was like…. well, Luke;

James was the harness guy;

Laura was the harness bitch learner;

JD was DMX bitch;

And Dale and I were carry bitches… (Dale also did much more, but I cbf noting it).

Fun, Fun Day!!!
