Berwick Concert & Girls PA 6257-1319-026
Well the last week of term was an eventful one to say the least.
The Berwick Concert ran pretty smoothly, the only problems being me forgetting to record the piano in some of the solo scenes and the Percussion Ensemble coming on rather late… Sound went okay, with JD operating (haha), I only heard feedback once (but I’m deaf, so you never know:p), so that was fine.
Friday was the girls PA, which JD and I had to hang a 2k for in period five, which was a heap easier than we expected. The comp itself was pretty crappy, but it was really funny when one of the girls tried to sing a really high note and totally screwed it up. She sprinted off stage and everyone was laughing. Lyon’s got absolutely cheated with the verdict for house song, they were definately the best of the houses. (No, I’m not biased… Why would I be?).
All in all, a pretty easy run through to the end of term.
The year 10 girls Semi-Formal was on Friday night, from what I’ve heard it was okay (I’m not loved and didn’t go), but I’m really looking forward to our Year 12 Formal (Only 640 Days away!!!)
James’ party’s in a week, really looking forward to it, although I gotta figure out something to get him… (James, gimme a hint:p)
