OHS….. Oh, Holy Shit! 5157-1812-015

Well today was interesting!!

This morning I got to school very early, so I took down the lights I put up in D2 last week, and helped Hawley and Jimmy(??) set up for assembly.
I got a Sprite for my efforts (Interesting little tradition that I only just became aware of), Unless James is reading this, therefore I bought the Sprite with my own money…

Assembly itself was alright, we managed to fit 6 of us in the box (Plus Mr Power), which was interesting…
There was a really good sketch about Law by some of the year 12’s, basically bagging red-heads and Jason Perri for Hooking-Up* with one.
They also brought the HPV on stage, which was boring, but they nearly ran over the dignitaries feet which would have been interesting.

Lunch was probably the most eventful part of the day, with the Assembly clean-up and a visit from an unknown man, who we soon found out was the OHS guy!!!!!
Turns out School’s getting a complete OHS audit and Aikman, being the Queen of OHS rule-breaking, was obviously at the top of his list.
I loved Belly’s side-stepping of his question about how we focus the side-perches…. “We Don’t”.. Ahh Belly, and you wonder where we get it from..

After school I headed down to Berwick to pick Sam (brother) up from school, and while I was down there I checked out their new hall which I gotta use for their concert “Beauty and the Beast” (June 21). It’s a fairly new hall, although there is no catwalks to hang lights so I’m not sure how we are going to do it as the bars are way out of Ladder-Reasch… Maybe they have a Newland’s-Style system….
The boards a new Maxim, although the layouts quite different to ours (Same buttons/faders, diff positioning). They have about 12 Par’s hung on this one bar, but nothing else so I might borrow some Fresnels or a couple of Profiles if needed…

Other than all that, my day was fairly normal,
